About me ✨

My name is Stacy, and I am a passionate Pilates instructor who discovered a deep love for this movement practice after chronic foot pain prevented me from walking or doing most types of physical activity without discomfort. Despite clear MRIs and X-Rays, baffled physios and doctors, nothing was working.

After worsening pain with yoga, I decided to give Pilates a go... and my world completely changed! I trained comprehensively through Balanced Body and began teaching mostly mat and Reformer. My pain improved and I got stronger. I found a movement modality that balanced my (hyper)flexibility with strength, stabilized my body, improved my posture, and helped me through the energy fluctuations associated with PMOS and hypermobility.

I now help others feel better in their bodies with a long-term movement practice that is sustainable through the ups and downs of life, and keeps you moving through the world with zest and joy.

What people have said

"Love the Reformer Pilates with Stacy! Class easily adapted to suit different levels and she makes it really accessible. It can be challenging but easily modified to suit your skill level. She's very encouraging to everyone in the group. We look forward to the class every week :)"

-YogaHub Reformer Student

"It was my first time ever doing reformer pilates, and I have to say, Stacy has been the most caring instructor I have ever had in my fitness journey! She took the time to explain me the reformer machine, payed attention to everyone individually so we were doing the right movements/postures, and it really made me feel very well accompanied (like as if it was an individual lesson!). Left the class relaxed and very well stretched, we will see the muscle pain tomorrow! Would recommend it 100%"

""This was my second class with Stacy and she is such a fantastic instructor! She takes the time to explain how the Reformer works, which makes it so much easier to follow, especially if you’re new. I really appreciate how she corrects your form in a supportive way so you can get the most out of the workout. Stacy always brings a big smile and so much positive energy to the class. Thank you, Stacy!""

Frequently asked questions

Pilates is a movement practice that aims to balance effort and ease. This means that it helps to sort out imbalances in the body and nervous system, softening muscles and structures that may be overly tight or rigid and providing mobility and relaxation, while providing strength, stability, and resilience to other areas that may require it.

Pilates can be a great baseline movement practice to help you improve other things you want to achieve physically, or just to live life more fully in general.

Give it a try and see what it does for you!

I strive to provide a variety of options for improving fitness through Pilates that are suitable for many different people and as inclusive as possible.

Any class is open to your modifications, as you are the true expert on your own body!

If you are hypermobile, I provide classes and resources to help build your endurance and proprioception, and this can help build up to the more challenging sessions.

If you are working with a specific injury or issue, 1:1 sessions may be more appropriate for you initially and I am happy to discuss this in a discovery call.

Depending on your injury or situation, group classes may not be the right approach to improving your fitness. I am not a physio or physician and cannot provide that level of targeted care; however, if you have chronic pain or another illness or injury but are medically cleared for exercise, group sessions or 1:1s can indeed be helpful. Book a discovery call and we can discuss how I might be able to help.

Unfortunately, I do not provide classes suitable for pregnancy at this time.

No, but this is an ideal spot for silly geese. Come on and hop into the pond!
